PHI International (previously HNZ) has established itself as a premier helicopter-transport provider in offshore operations in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Europe and throughout Asia, and is a growing part of the PHI Group of companies.

PHI Australia require SAR Technical Crew to fill the roles of Senior Base Crewpersons, Winch Operators and Rescue Crewpersons to complement the existing Search & Rescue service provided in Western Australia.

The successful applicants will work a 21/21 touring or LOS roster.

We are seeking applicants who:

  • Have a minimum of 100 flight hours as SAR Technical Crewperson.

with preferably:

  • CASA Class 2 Aviation Medical
  • TBOISET
  • Advanced First Aid Training
  • Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate

and

  • Have the ability to facilitate teamwork and workplace efficiency
  • Has values that align with the principles that define PHI’s company culture; Safe, Efficient, Quality Service
  • Has Australian citizenship or the ability to live and work in Australia. Residing in WA would be an advantage.

Air Rescue UK

As part of our COVID 19 contingency planning we are looking at the potential of adding to our staff on a 12 month contractor basis.

Experienced SAR Helicopter Winch (Hoist) Operator or an Experienced SAR Helicopter Winchman (Rescue Swimmer) with HCPC Paramedic registration or FREC 4/5
Must have completed a recognised SAR Helicopter Course

6 Weeks duty in the Falkland Islands of which 14 days is in quarantine.
3-6 weeks away from the Falkland Islands (nominally 38 days)
Day rate paid for time in the Falklands available for Duty.
Must be a UK National, EU National or have right of residence in the UK.
Travel to Falklands is from the UK
Accommodation and Food in the Falklands provided.
Subject to immigration process likely start date is early September - October 2020 for 9-12 months.

This is a contract position and you should be self employed or running your own Ltd Company. We may consider a 0hrs PAYE contract if necessary.
